Rajasthan Royals (RR) and Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) are facing each other in the 39th Match of Indian Premier League (IPL) 2022 at MCA stadium in Pune. Royal Challengers captain Faf du Plessis won the toss and decided to field first.

Jos Buttler has been in amazing form in IPL 2022. The Rajasthan wicket-keeper batter has scored 499 runs in IPL 2022 at an amazing average of 71.99 and an impressive strike rate of 161. Buttler has scored two centuries and two half-centuries in the ongoing IPL 2022 season. He stands at the first position in the race of Orange Cap.

The Royals once again were heavily dependent on Jos Buttler for giving a good start in the powerplay. However, Jos failed to do it today. He was dismissed on eight runs by Josh Hazlewood. Buttler hit the short length ball of Hazlewood into the hands of Mohammed Siraj who was standing in mid-on.

It was a stunning catch by Siraj to dismiss in-form Jos Buttler. He had to stretch forward and dive in front to take a low catch. RCB teammates looked delighted with this catch of Siraj and they appreciated the great fielding effort of Siraj.

Rajasthan surprise everyone by sending Ravichandran Ashwin at No 3

After being invited to bat first, Rajasthan Royals didn’t get a good start and lost the early wicket of Devdutt Padikkal. Mohammed Siraj gave the early breakthrough. The RR management surprised everyone by sending Ravichandran Ashwin at No 3 to use the field restrictions and Ashwin didn’t disappoint by scoring 17 runs in nine balls.

Earlier in the match, RCB made one change to their playing XI. Rajat Patidar replaced Anuj Rawat. On the other hand, Darry Mitchell and Kuldeep Sen replaced Obed Mccoy and Karun Nair in the playing XI of Rajasthan Royals.
