India’s left-arm wrist-spinner Kuldeep Yadav picked up his second wicket of the morning by removing West Indies wicketkeeper-batter Tevin Imlach on Day 3 (Sunday, October 12) of the ongoing second Test at the Arun Jaitley Stadium in Delhi. The wicket fell on the final ball of the 52nd over of the visitors’ first innings.
Kuldeep bowled a sharply spinning length delivery that moved into the right-hander. Imlach went onto the back foot and tried to guide it to the leg side but missed, hitting his knee. At short leg, Devdutt Padikkal made a quick reaction, diving forward to take a spectacular catch as umpire Richard Illingworth raised his finger.
Imlach opted for a review, but UltraEdge confirmed no bat was involved, and ball-tracking showed all three reds, upholding the on-field decision. This marked Kuldeep Yadav’s third wicket of the innings. You can watch the video here:

Tevin Imlach made 21 runs from 67 balls, hitting three boundaries. His wicket left the West Indies in trouble at 163/6 after 52 overs.

After choosing to bat first in the second Test, India continued to dominate, declaring their innings at 518/5. Yashasvi Jaiswal was the standout performer with a magnificent 175 off 258 balls, while captain Shubman Gill remained unbeaten on 129 from 196 deliveries. In reply, the West Indies lost John Campbell cheaply for 10.
Tagenarine Chanderpaul and Alick Athanaze then added some stability with a 66-run partnership for the second wicket, scoring 34 and 41 respectively. Skipper Roston Chase was dismissed for a duck, and the visitors ended Day 2 at 140/4 after 43 overs, with Shai Hope (31) and Tevin Imlach (14) not out.
On Day 3, Kuldeep Yadav shone in the morning session, taking the wickets of Hope (36), Imlach (21), and Justin Greaves (18). At the latest update, the West Indies were struggling at 175/7 after 56 overs, with Jomel Warrican (1) and Khary Pierre (0) at the crease.
