Senior off-spinner Ravichandran Ashwin was one of the standout performers as India thrashed England 3-1 in the four-match Test series. The cricketer from Tamil Nadu was welcomed home from Ahmedabad after the Test series with love torture by his daughter.
Ashwin returned as the highest wicket-taker of the series returning with 32 wickets – five more than young all-rounder Axar Patel who scalped 27 wickets from four matches. Besides picking 32 wickets, he also scored 189 runs in the recently concluded bilateral series between England and hosts India. Ravichandran Ashwin played an instrumental role in guiding the Kohli-led side to the final of the ICC World Test Championship at Southampton.

Back home after a remarkable series win against England, the veteran spinner received a lot of love from his daughter. On Friday, Ashwin’s wife Prithi Narayanan shared an adorable video of the Delhi Capitals (DC) superstar as the ace spinner was treated to some “love torture” by her daughter. Taking to Instagram, Ashwin’s wife shared a sweet video in which the veteran cricketer can be seen having a fun time with his little daughter.
