Team India registered a comprehensive victory against West Indies on Tuesday, August 2 at Warner Park in Basseterre, St Kitts. They chased down 165 runs in the match, with seven wickets to spare. The visitors now have a 2-1 lead in the five-match T20I series. After the conclusion of the third T20I, Team India players decided to delight the crowd at Warner Park.

Indian wicket-keeper batter Rishabh Pant and Suryakumar Yadav along with other players interacted with the fans. They were seen posing for pictures and signing autographs. One of the fans, who was present during the incident, started shouting “I love you” for Rishabh Pant when the wicketkeeper was signing bats and hats.

The Indian cricketer first ignored the fan and continued giving his autographs. But, after multiple chants from the fan, he gave away a sheepish smile to the fan. Journalist Vimal Kumar uploaded a video of the incident on Youtube as “Pant and SKY took selfie for fans and why Pant smiled on I ❤️ u😊.” It has gone viral on social media.

The likes of Shreyas Iyer, Hardik Pandya, Dinesh Karthik, R Ashwin, Suryakumar Yadav, Rishabh Pant, and other Indian cricketers have been obliging fan requests throughout the West Indies tour, so far. The fans have been delighted with the gesture from the Indian players.

Suryakumar Yadav powers India to a seven-wicket win over West Indies

Suryakumar Yadav’s fantastic knock powered India to a seven wickets win over West Indies in the third T20I. He was the top scorer with 76 runs off 44 deliveries in the innings and won the Player of the Match award. Wicket-keeper batter Rishabh Pant also played a fine hand. He remained unbeaten in the third T20I to take India home by seven wickets.

Pant slammed 33 runs off 26 deliveries including three boundaries and a six at a strike rate of 126.92. Earlier in the match, pacer Bhuvneshwar Kumar picked a couple of wickets to restrict West Indies to 164 runs. The fourth T20I between India and West Indies will take place on August 6 in Florida.
