The Indian cricketers are currently in England and preparing for the first test at Trent Bridge from August 4. The Indian team are looking well prepared ahead of the first test having played a practice game to get adjusted to the conditions. Meanwhile, Rohit Sharma has done his bit to keep the mood of his Indian teammates high. The session left the players in splits as they had great fun in the process.
Rohit Sharma divided the players into two groups. Then he made one player from each group hit the ball high with Rishabh Pant heading the ball with a helmet and players from both teams trying to complete the catch. The BCCI’s official Twitter handle shared a video of the same.

The Indian team last won a Test series in England in 2007 under the captaincy of Rahul Dravid. India then lost against England under the leadership of MS Dhoni and Virat Kohli in the next three tours.
Meanwhile, Rohit Sharma will be opening in the first Test against England in Trent Bridge. With Shubman Gill being ruled out, there are doubts over who will be his opening partner. KL Rahul and Prithvi Shaw are among the contenders to open alongside Rohit in the first Test. The Test series will also kick off the second cycle of the ICC World Test Championship 2021-23.
India beat England earlier this tear 3-1 when the Englishmen toured India. While India have a full-strength squad for the series, England will be missing the services of Ben Stokes who has taken an indefinite break from the game of cricket.
