SRH will begin their 2025 season against inaugural champions Rajasthan Royals on March 23.

SRH fell to Kolkata Knight Riders in the IPL 2024 final

Led by Pat Cummins, SunRisers Hyderabad secured second place in the IPL 2024 points table. They suffered a loss to Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) in Qualifier 1 but bounced back with a victory over Rajasthan Royals (RR) in Qualifier 2 to book their spot in the final.

In the title clash against KKR, SRH struggled with the bat, getting bowled out for just 113. Kolkata cruised to an easy win, chasing the target with eight wickets in hand and 57 balls to spare. Heading into the 2025 season, the Hyderabad-based franchise will be determined to go one step further and clinch their second IPL title.
