The bond between players despite representing different teams is what makes the Indian Premier League (IPL) one of the best tournaments in the world. Recently, Chennai Super Kings batter Suresh Raina was seen touching his former teammate Harbhajan Singh’s feat, the video of which has now gone viral.
Apart from playing in the India colours together, Suresh Raina and Harbhajan Singh were a part of Chennai Super Kings for three seasons – 2018 to 2020. The veteran off-spinner was then roped in by Kolkata Knight Riders during the IPL 2021 auction. Meanwhile, Raina was seen touching the veteran spinner’s feet as he met for the first time this season. Harbhajan was on the ground when Raina came with a bat in hand and tried to touch Harbhajan’s feet.

While Harbhajan Singh was not part of the KKR playing XI, Suresh Raina did not get a chance to bat despite being part of CSK’s playing XI. CSK rode on Faf du Plessis’ unbeaten 95 and Deepak Chahar’s 4-wicket haul to beat KKR by 18 runs in the game and secure their third win in IPL 2021 after a faulty start against Delhi Capitals.
Chennai Super Kings next play their arch rival Royal Challengers Banaglore on April 25 (Sunday) at the Wakhede Stadium in Mumbai from 3:30 PM IST. Virat Kohli-ledBangalore have made a superb start to their IPL 2021 campaign winning the first four games and occupying the top spot in the points table.
