[WATCH]- Team India’s Bowling Trio Drops Funny Reel After Historic 2nd Test Win Over England

Indian pacer Arshdeep Singh shared a humorous reel on Instagram featuring fellow fast bowlers Mohammed Siraj and Akash Deep following India’s emphatic 336-run victory over England in the second Test at Edgbaston on Sunday (July 6).

Although Arshdeep is part of the squad for the England tour, he wasn’t included in the playing XI for this match. With Jasprit Bumrah rested to manage his workload, Akash Deep stepped into the lineup and delivered impressive figures of 4/88 and 6/99 across both innings.

Mohammed Siraj, taking on the role of the senior pacer, supported brilliantly with a seven-wicket haul. To celebrate their standout performances, Arshdeep Singh posted a funny reel where the two bowlers posed with the stumps, and he playfully praised their match-winning efforts.

“Do Bhai, dono Tabaahi (Two brothers, both destructive).”

“Akash Deep bowled with consistent penetration” – Aakash Chopra on 2nd Test win

Former cricketer Aakash Chopra recently reviewed Akash Deep’s bowling display in the Edgbaston Test and praised his consistent performance in both innings. Sharing his thoughts in a video on his YouTube channel, ‘Aakash Chopra’, the 47-year-old commentator stated:

“Akash Deep’s story is very interesting. Of course, he bowled extremely well, which all of us saw. The ball moves after pitching. In fact, he is more of a seam bowler. There are two kinds of bowlers. One swings the ball in the air, and the other bowler keeps the ball straight in the air, but the ball moves left or right after pitching. He falls in the second category.”

He further continued:

“His ball comes almost straight in the air, and then comes in very sharply after pitching. If you don’t believe me, ask Harry Brook because he couldn’t figure out the ball at all. It pitched and came in quickly, not once, but in both innings, and on a flat pitch. He bowled consistently with that penetration. The new ball suits him more, but he has been consistent.”
