MS Dhoni’s Gesture To Sakshi Dhoni During T20 WC Semifinal Goes Viral
Recently, MS Dhoni also went viral for a lighthearted moment with his wife Sakshi Dhoni during the semifinal of the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup 2026 between India and England at the Wankhede Stadium. During a tense moment in the 18th over, when Jasprit Bumrah was bowling to Sam Curran, Sakshi briefly believed a catch had been taken and jumped up in celebration.
However, the ball had actually bounced before reaching the bowler. Standing behind her, MS Dhoni calmly signalled it wasn’t out and asked her to relax. The moment went viral online. Dhoni was travelling to join the Chennai Super Kings camp ahead of the Indian Premier League season starting March 28.
The squad is expected to include several new faces this year, including Sanju Samson, who was named Player of the Tournament at the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup 2026.
