[WATCH] Virat Kohli And Anushka Sharma Share Sweet Moment With Paps At Mumbai Airport

Star batter Virat Kohli and Anushka Sharma obliged the paparazzi at Mumbai airport amid the T20 World Cup 2026 buzz. The couple had earlier been seen at the Gateway of India waterfront after returning to Mumbai from Alibaug. As the two made their way into the airport, photographers present couldn’t resist turning into fans and requested pictures with them.

One photographer approached first and posed with the couple, after which several others followed, lining up to get their photos clicked one by one. Kohli and Anushka graciously fulfilled every request, smiling warmly for the cameras. At one point, Kohli lightened the mood with a humorous remark, joking that the flight wouldn’t wait for them.

“Plane nahi rukega bhai (Plane won’t wait for us),” he said.

The duo then headed inside, with Kohli giving a wave to the paparazzi as they walked off.

Virat Kohli and Anushka Sharma have frequently been seen in public lately. Just last week, the couple travelled to Premanand Ji Maharaj’s ashram in Vrindavan to seek his blessings. They have also made several trips to Alibaug, which has increasingly become their preferred getaway destination.

Virat Kohli Set To Make IPL 2026 Comeback

After stepping away from T20Is and Tests, Virat Kohli now features only in ODIs for India, which means he is seen in action less frequently. His most recent appearance came in the three-match home ODI series against New Zealand national cricket team in January.

Kohli was in outstanding touch during that series, registering scores of 93, 23, and 124 across the three games. Prior to facing New Zealand, he also participated in a couple of matches in the Vijay Hazare Trophy 2025–26 season, where he impressed with knocks of 131 and 77.

The star batter is next expected to be in action during Indian Premier League 2026, where he will once again turn out for the Royal Challengers Bengaluru. Kohli was retained by the franchise ahead of the auction and remains a key figure in the squad.

He played a pivotal role in their maiden title triumph last season, amassing 657 runs in 15 matches, including eight half-centuries.
