After South Africa and Australia, it’s Pakistan’s turn to tour the West Indies as they face off in the first of the 4-match T20I series on July 28, Wednesday. The T20I series will be followed by a 2-match Test series.
West Indies made a roaring comeback against the Aussies after losing to South Africa. They claimed the series 4-1 and dominated most of the matches. Going into the series against Pakistan, West Indies have very few things to address. Andre Russell’s form with the bat is the main concern.
Kieron Pollard has recovered from his injury. He will be back to captain the side. Fidel Edwards has also recovered from his shoulder injury. He will join the squad for the series against Pakistan.

The Pakistani side is coming into this series following a pounding at the hands of England. They lost the ODI series 0-3 to a second-string side. Although they won the first of the three T20I’s, England made a comeback to snatch the series 2-1. There were very few positives to take from that tour for Pakistan.
Hasan Ali was their best bowler and showed he’s capable with the bat as well. Pakistan continues to rely on skipper Babar Azam and Mohammad Rizwan. It will be problematic against a batting-heavy Windies side. West Indies can put up huge totals on board at home and Pakistan cannot rely on just two batsmen.
