There are not many bowlers in cricket who have troubled legend Sachin Tendulkar a lot while batting. If we have a look at bowlers who have dismissed him most of the time in international cricket we’ll find that they are super talented legendary bowlers.

James Anderson, Glenn McGrath, and Brett Lee are the 3 big names that come to mind when somebody thinks about dismissing Sachin. However other than this, there is one more name, who Sachin Tendulkar himself confronted which is one of the toughest challenges he has faced in his career. The name of the cricketer is Pakistani all-rounder Abdul Razzaq.

Razzaq dismissed God Of Cricket Sachin 6, times in One Day International cricket. Mainly his strong in swing deliveries trouble Tendulkar a lot.

“Naturally, when you have that kind of delivery with yourself in international cricket, or you’re unplayable, you’re bound to have success. Otherwise, the normal bowlers have no swing, they can’t execute yorkers and can’t create any hype,” Razzaq said on Geo News when asked about his success against Tendulkar.

“In the beginning, I used to bowl effective in-swing and reverse swing the ball nicely as well. You can’t call it a weakness. You can call it a nice ball. It’s possible that he (Tendulkar) had something else going on in his mind, perhaps he was expecting out-swingers,” he added.

I used to love bowling or batting in tough situations: Abdul Razzaq

Abdul Razzaq was compared with legend Lance Klusener for his striking abilities. Razzaq could hit huge maximum and clean boundaries, once in his career, he smashed five fours in One Day Internationals to great Glenn McGrath during the CB 2000 series.

When he was asked whether he loved bowling over batting or batting over bowling, the former all-rounder Razzaq said he loved both things equally it all just used to depend on the situation of the team and what the team wants him to do.

“I used to be such an observer that I loved leading in situations. I used to love batting or bowling in tough situations,” Abdul Razzaq said.
