WI vs IND: [WATCH] Rohit Sharma And Virat Kohli Touched By A Fan’s Heartfelt Message

Rohit Sharma and Virat Kohli were deeply moved by a heartwarming message from a young fan. The reaction was Rohit Sharma’s humorous comment about Kohli’s “excessive beard.”

In preparation for the decisive match against the West Indies at Queen’s Park Oval in Trinidad, Rohit Sharma and Virat Kohli took the time to greet Indian fans in the Caribbean.

Rohit and former captain Kohli played vital innings for Team India in the first Test of the ongoing two-match series in Dominica.

Rohit achieved his 10th Test century, while Kohli displayed a gritty knock of 76, leading India to an impressive victory over the West Indies.

With a 1-0 lead in the series, Rohit and the team have now arrived in Port of Spain for the second Test.

Just days before the start of the second Test, the Indian cricketers were spotted signing autographs and taking selfies with passionate Indian fans in Trinidad.

The highlight of the video shared by the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) on the eve of the second Test was former captain Kohli posing for pictures and signing autographs.

The BCCI captioned their Twitter post, “Plenty of smiles, selfies, and autographs for lucky #TeamIndia fans in Trinidad.” In the same video, Rohit Sharma met a fan who had taken a photo with him back in 2019.

Fondly recalling the moment, Rohit playfully commented, bringing smiles to everyone’s faces, “That’s from 2019. Too much beard.”

The Indian skipper’s delightful response quickly became popular among Indian cricket fans.

Several Indian cricketers, including head coach Rahul Dravid and veteran all-rounder Ravindra Jadeja, engaged with Indian supporters at the match venue.

Earlier, Rohit and the team also met legendary West Indies cricketer Brian Lara, also known as The Prince of Port of Spain.

Kohli had a brief conversation with Lara as the renowned cricketer made his way to the changing room, while Rohit had a chat with Lara at the match venue.
