During the ongoing 2nd Test between India and the West Indies in Trinidad, the captain of a local Windies ladies’ wind ball cricket team, Karen, had a memorable fangirl moment when she met Rohit Sharma.

Karen, who leads the Rebirth wind ball cricket team, was thrilled to have the opportunity to catch up with the Indian cricket star. After the meeting, Karen shared some details about her brief interaction with Rohit Sharma. According to a report from RevSportz, they talked about cricket, and Karen proudly mentioned that she was the captain of a wind ball cricket team, which is commonly known as tennis ball cricket in India.

She also expressed her admiration for Rohit Sharma, describing him as a top-of-the-line captain. Karen praised Rohit’s leadership skills and highlighted his impressive track record, including his success as captain in the Indian Premier League (IPL) and with the Mumbai Indians and the Indian National Team.

She drew parallels between herself and Rohit, stating that they were both accomplished captains, with Karen having enjoyed a successful stint leading the ladies’ wind ball cricket team, Rebirth.

Meanwhile, the West Indies team struggled on Day 3 of the Test, finishing at 229/5, still 209 runs behind India’s first innings total of 438. Despite the challenging situation, Captain Kraig Brathwaite put up a valiant effort with a fine knock of 75 runs. He received support from Kirk McKenzie, who contributed 32 runs during a crucial 46-run partnership.
 
India’s bowlers made significant breakthroughs, with Ravichandran Ashwin breaking through Brathwaite’s defences to give India an important wicket. During the rain-interrupted day, Alick Athanaze (37) and Jason Holder (11) held their ground, adding some stability to the West Indies innings.

Ravindra Jadeja claimed two wickets, while Mohammed Siraj, Mukesh Kumar, and Ravichandran Ashwin each scalped one wicket.
