The title-decider of the Women’s T20 Challenge will see Supernovas lock horns with Velocity at the Maharastra Cricket Association Stadium in Pune on Saturday. Supernovas have won the title twice while Velocity are yet to put their hands on the silverware.
The Velocity side boasts a well-rounded batting unit, despite failing to chase down 191 runs in their last fixture. However, Deepti Sharma and Co. will have to produce better performance with the ball to end their barren run in the competition.
Supernovas, on the other hand, has been led well by their captain Harmanpreet Kaur from the front. The star West Indian batter Deandra Dottin holds the key at the top. The two-time champions will hope the power-hitter to go big in the powerplay to set a platform for the batters to follow.
