Star New Zealand all-rounder Colin de Grandhomme examined the special hairstyles of a few former and current cricketers in a video posted on Twitter. One of the talking points of the World Test Championship (WTC) final between India and New Zealand in Southampton is Colin de Grandhomme’s mullet hairstyle which was praised by many cricketing fans.
In a Twitter video shared by the International Cricket Council (ICC ), Kiwi all-rounder was asked to rate the hairstyles of different cricketers. India’s workhorse Ishant Sharma was rated 6 out of 10 and Grandhomme said “he has done a tough job of growing it up.”
Indian all-rounder Hardik Pandya’s gangster look was rated 9 out of 10 by the New Zealand all-rounder. Former Indian skipper and legendary batsman MS Dhoni’s hairstyle from his early days in cricket received an excellent 10 on 10.
The 34-year-old praised Dhoni and said:
“It’s pretty straightforward. It looks a lot cleaner and nicer than mine. That’s the perfect hairstyle. 10 probably.
Sri Lankan bowling legend Lasith Malinga was another name in the list to get full marks for his braided look by the Coilin de Grandhomme.

Colin De Grandhomme’s mullet hairstyle is quite a hit
Colin De Grandhomme’s mullet hairstyle is a classic ’80s-inspired hairstyle. In the recent New Zealand tour of England, 2 Test match series his Mullet hairstyle was the talk of the town. Even the bowling coach of New Zealand Shane Jurgensen once revealed that his wife is a huge fan of Colin De Grandhomme’s new hairstyle.
The Blackcaps bowling coach said:
“I approve (De Grandhomme’s new look). My wife loves it. I don’t know why, but she thinks it’s great. It certainly provides a bit of entertainment for the boys in the changing rooms and the crowd. He got a standing ovation on the way back from the indoor nets after having a bat, so it certainly provides a lot of fun.”

Colin De Grandhomme is a crucial member of Team New Zealand he is one of the few cricketers to score a Test hundred and pick a five-wicket haul. He is also part of the WTC final 15 man squad.
