The Indian Premier League (IPL) 2021 was suspended due to the Covid-19 spread in the camp. However, now it is all set to resume in United Arab Emirates (UAE) from September 19. Also, BCCI has released the schedule for the marquee tournament. During the first phase of IPL 2021 Virat Kohli’s team Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) performed exceptionally well.

Meanwhile, When the season was suspended team RCB was placed in the number 3 spot with 5 victories and 2 losses under their belt. Also, Harshal Patel who is a member of Virat Kohli’s team was the purple cap holder in the first phase of IPL 2021. Notably, Harshal Patel bagged 17 wickets in that season. Also, the big investments like Kyle Jamieson and Glenn Maxwell had a great outing for Royal Challengers Bangalore. It will be interesting to see can RCB players can carry their form from the first to the second phase of not.

India’s star leg spinner Yuzvendra Chahal is the highest wicket-taker for RCB in the Indian Premier League (IPL). Chahal is the only player to represent RCB and pick a century of wickets. So far the 31-year-old has bagged 125 wickets while playing for the Bangalore franchise.

During the India leg of IPL 2021, Chahal looked completely out of form. As he managed to pick only 4 wickets in 7 matches at an average of 47.50. However, in the recent Limited overs series against Sri Lanka, Chahal was seen bowling with a lot of confidence. He looked in very good form and rhythm. Meanwhile, Virat Kohli will expect Yuzi Chahal to be in his prime entering the second phase of IPL 2021. With the surface providing help to spinners Chahal might dominate the opposition batting unit.

Mohammed Siraj was once considered as a liability for the team by many fans has become the biggest asset of India in Test cricket. Siraj has shown exceptional improvement in his bowling skills. He is looking better than ever and can control his pace, line, and length properly. After playing only a handful of Tests he has already bagged a 5-wicket haul at Gabba and a couple of 4-wicket hauls at Lord’s.

In the first phase of IPL 2021, Siraj looked in amazing form as he was the main pacer of Virat Kohli’s led side. Siraj managed to pick 6 wickets in the India leg of IPL 2021 at an average of 31.83 and an economy of 7.34. In UAE he will be entering with a great form and Kohli will be looking forward to utilizing the full potential of Siraj. The 27-year-old definitely can dominate the second half of IPL 2021.

Virat Kohli possesses the capability to deliver exceptional performance for the team wherever he plays. It doesn’t matter which is the ground, pitch, or country, Virat Kohli can surely dominate. Also, it doesn’t matter who is in the opposition bowling unit once Virat Kohli starts smashing the ball all over the grounds he just keeps going. Meanwhile, RCB will face Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) in their first match of IPL 2021 UAE Leg. The high voltage clash is scheduled to begin on 20 September.
