Veteran Opener played a sensational knock of 219 off 149 balls including 25 fours and 7 sixes. His strike rate in that innings was brilliant at 146.97.

Sehwag helped the team to reach a score of 418 and India dominated that match and won it comfortably. Sehwag was awarded the match of the match award for his sensational knock.

India won that match bowling out West Indies at the score of 265 runs.
