The former Australian all rounder was handed over captaincy reins of RCB in absence of Virat Kohli. Being one of the Fab 4 in RCB side a lot was expected of him with both bat and ball. However everything went downhill for him with both bat and ball and he turned out to be a big blooper for RCB, one reason why they couldn”t qualify for playoffs. In 8 matches he managed only 71 runs at a sorry average of 11. He had only one or two good days with the ball entire season and he managed just 5 wickets. This was by far his worst ever IPL season.
