South Africa Legends skipper Jonty Rhodes still remains of the most active former cricketers. having retired from the game almost two decades ago, he remains as fit and active in the cricketing circle. Post-retirement, he has been busy as a fielding coach across tournaments and across countries. Right now, he has been leading the side in the Road Safety World Series tournament. They have made it to the semifinals having beaten the Bangladesh Legends in their previous game. They will take on the Sri Lanka Legends in the second semifinal.
Meanwhile, Jonty Rhodes showed a glimpse of his fielding as he affected a runout in the game against Bangladesh. The run-out effected from Jonty Rhodes occurred in the final ball of the fourth over when Mehrab Hossain jabbed towards point and sprinted for a quick single. Rhodes was in motion when he hit the wickets directly much to the rejoice of his teammates.

Jonty Rhodes has worked as a fielding coach for Mumbai Indians and Punjab Kings in the IPL. In September last year, he took over as Sweden team’s head coach. The tournament is in its final stages with England Legends and est Indies fighting it out in the final league game for a spot in the final four.
Sri Lanka, India, and South Africa have already made it to the knockouts. The winner between England and West Indies will be the fourth team to make it to the semi-finals. The tournament has turned out to be a big hit in Raipur with the yesteryear cricketers enjoying themselves while also playing in a competitive environment.
