The second Ashes Test ended today and Australia registered a convincing win by 275 runs. While the wicket-keeper batsman, Jos Buttler tried his best and frustrated the Aussies, his innings ended in a highly unfortunate way as well.
It was a short delivery from Jhye Richardson, Jos Buttler went onto the back foot and tried to hit the ball towards the offside but he had gone too deep into the crease, and eventually was dismissed ‘hit wicket’. And, soon after he got out, Australia managed to seal the deal.
However, England were never in the game in the second Test at Adelaide as, the Joe Root led team had to chase a massive target of 468 for the win as well, and the visitors were bundled out for 192.
