IPL is a stage where talent meets opportunities. As uncapped India players get a chance to share the dressing room with their heroes for 2 long months. Each year there is one youngster who grabs the most attention of fans by performing in the most prominent T20 league. In IPL 2020 all eyes will be glued to the televisions when Yashasvi Jaiswal comes out to bat.

The 18-year-old will be taking part in his maiden IPL season and will be representing the Rajasthan Royals. After his heroics in the u-19 world cup where he won the man of the tournament awards, Royals went all out for him in the IPL auction.

Meanwhile, Rajasthan Royals acquired Jaiswal for a winning bid of Rs. 2.40 crores. Now with IPL just around the corner, Jaiswal is relishing the opportunity to play in the biggest T20 competition in the world. Ahead of the IPL 2020, Jaiswal stated that so far it has felt like family being a part of the Royals setup.

“I am happy that I am part of Rajasthan Royals, where you feel like part of a family”, Jaiswal said as quoted by The Hindu.

Jaiswal also talked about how he is preparing for the IPL with a limited amount of space as players are not allowed to go outside. Moreover, Jaiswal is etching to make his debut in the league and added that it is an amazing feeling to be a part of the IPL.

“We cannot go outside, but we have enough things to do inside. Being part of the IPL is an amazing feeling. I have already learnt how different the senior level is from the junior”, Jaiswal said.

Meanwhile, IPL 2020 will take place in a bio-secure bubble from September 19- November 10 in the UAE. All franchises are now getting a chance to practice outdoors and prepare for the much anticipated season. Furthermore, the much anticipated IPL 2020 schedule will be out today, said IPL chairman Brijesh Patel.
