The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) on July 25 (Sunday) announced the schedule of the second half of IPL 2021. Three-time champions Chennai Super Kings (CSK) will kick off their campaign in the UAE against defending champions Mumbai Indians on September 19 in the UAE.
It will be a tough ask for MS Dhoni & his boys after a poor outing in the last edition of the IPL. The Super Kings finished seventh in the last season and failed to qualify for the playoffs – the first time ever in IPL history.
Chennai Super Kings will play three matches at the Dubai International Stadium along with two each at Sharjah and Abu Dhabi.
