India’s batting legend and former captain Virat Kohli struggled with the bat in the first T20I against Australia on Tuesday. He regained his lost form in the Asia Cup 2022, scoring a century and two half-centuries.

However, he was dismissed early in a failed attempt to hit a boundary over mid-on against the Aussies.  The mistimed ball went straight into Cameron Green’s safe hands. The second game will take place in Nagpur. Ashneer Grover, the founder of BharatPe and Shark Tank Judge, met Virat Kohli in Nagpur ahead of the second T20I against Australia on Friday.

Ashneer shared a photo of himself with former Indian captain Virat Kohli on his Twitter handle and captioned it with a quirky text. He wrote:

“What could the Delhi boys with a common passion for ‘Ben Stokes’ be discussing ? All the best @imVkohli for the match in Nagpur !!”

Both seemed to share a light moment in the photo. Ashneer Grover rose to fame after he appeared as a judge on Shark Tank India. He recently had a fallout with BharatPe’s board of directors. He was forced to resign from his own company. In an open letter, he attacked the board and slammed them for mistreating the company’s employees.

India seek redemption in the second T20I

India will lock horns with Australia in the second T20I in at Vadodara Cricket Stadium in Nagpur. Both teams arrived at the venue on Wednesday, September 21. The Men in Blue suffered a harrowing defeat in the first T20I by four wickets. They failed to defend a total of 208.

Australian batters wreaked havoc. They attacked each and every Indian bowler except Axar Patel. An awful fielding effort added to India’s misery. The Aussies chased down the target with four balls to spare. Indian Captain, Rohit Sharma blamed bowlers for the loss.

India’s bowling attack will get a much-needed boost as Jasprit Bumrah will most likely make a comeback to the team. India will look to put in a better performance in the second game. This series is extremely important for India as they prepare for the upcoming T20 World Cup next month in Australia.
