Star England pacer Stuart Broad recently stated that England will win the T20 World Cup 2021. West Indies champion all-rounder Dwayne Bravo came up with a solid reply for English fast bowler; Broad. In a fun manner, Bravo said that he didn’t know Broad has turned into a ‘comedian’.

Notably, England thrashed Pakistan in the recent T20I and ODI series. England won the ODI series by 3-0 and the T20I series by 2-1. This led Stuart Broad to claim that Eoin Morgan will lift the trophy in the upcoming T20 World Cup. All rounder Dwayne Bravo tagged Stuart Broad in the comment and wrote:

“Didn’t know Stuart Broad turn comedian now. All the best to all teams tho let’s wait and see.”

Meanwhile former Indian cricketer Murali Kartik also joined the party, he also came up with a reply. Murali was seen in the comment section of the same post. He wrote:

“I think England jinx their own team by saying it’s coming home for everything even when the Trophy is Millions of miles away.” (*laughing emoji*)

 Many cricket fans and experts believe West Indies, India, and England are the three favorites to win the T20 World Cup 2021. Notably, West Indies won the last T20 World Cup which happened back in 2016 against England.

The 35-year-old Stuart Broad is currently a Test specialist pacer for the England team. He joined the Sky Sports commentary and analysis team in the prolific T20I series between England and Pakistan. After England’s impressive performance Broad stated on Sky Sports

“I was just watching Morgs (Eoin Morgan) lift the trophy (after series win over Pakistan) there and I think we’re going to win the World Cup, We’ve got so many bases covered. We’ve got so much depth, they play fearless cricket, I just think we’re going to win the World Cup. It’s all looking pretty rosy.”

Although England and India are ranked 1 and 2 in the ICC T20I rankings, still the eighth-placed West Indies will be one of the top contenders to win the world cup. West Indies is a very big threat for any team in the World Cup. ICC rankings don’t reflect the team’s true potential, they have got a pretty solid team.

Recently West Indies defeated Australia in a five-match T20I series, winning the series by 4-1. Big names like Kieron Pollard, Andre Russell, and Chris Gayle make the team a power-packed side. Also, players like Shimron Hetmyer and Nicholas Pooran have the potential to play explosive innings at any time.

West Indies is definitely a force to reckon with. Also, they might win the T20 World Cup for the third time.
