Rohit Sharma finally scored his maiden overseas Test ton as he scored 127 in the second innings of the Oval Test. His knock was a big bonus for the Indian team as it helped his team to first overtake the England lead and then build a lead beyond it. Rohit first added an 83-run opening stand with KL Rahul and then added a 153-run stand with Cheteshwar Pujara to put India in a commanding position at stumps on day 3.
Three quick wickets on day 4 has given England the advantage once again with India eyeing to get to 300. In a video shared by the Mumbai Indians franchise, Hardik Pandya, Parthiv Patel amongst others heaped praises on Rohit’s knock.

It’s very entertaining and it’s very pleasing to the eye to watch you play” Pandya further added.

Mumbai Indians have already reached the UAE and undertaken their first practice session as well. Mumbai are placed fourth in the points table with four wins from their first seven games. They resume their campaign against Chennai Super Kings on September 19 in Dubai.
Rohit Sharma, Suryakumar Yadav amongst others will join the team after the ongoing Test series.
