Kolkata Knight Riders owner Shahrukh Khan is celebrating his 55th birthday today. KKR’s 60-run win over RR in Dubai on Sunday was just the perfect gift for the team owner. However, the ideal gift to him would be to win the third IPL trophy for the side.
SRK was present in most of the league matches of his team in the UAE. Meanwhile, KKR skipper Eoin Morgan had a special birthday wish for the KKR team owner who would love them to make it to the playoffs.

Many of the KKR players wished Shahrukh Khan on his birthday from Andre Russell to Pat Cummins. However, Morgan’s wish was the best as he likened SRK to Hollywood actor Tom Cruise. KKR’s official Twitter over handle shared a video of the players wishing SRK on his birthday.
While describing his favourite SRK moment, Dinesh Karthik said,
“I remember once going to Bali and there were just two things which the auto driver told us — So, you are from India, Shah Rukh Khan, Preity Zinta, Veer-Zaara. That’s how famous he is.”
The dazzling all-rounder from West Indies, Andre Russell also shared his thoughts on the great man. He said how he was amazed by the calm and cool attitude of Shahrukh Khan.
“It was a special moment. He (SRK) was so humble and cool. He was standing beside me and gave me a hug. I am a tough guy but I was blushing,” said Andre Russell while recalling his first meeting with the Bollywood superstar.

Other KKR cricketers Ali Khan, Shivam Mavi, Rahul Tripathi, Lockie Ferguson, Kuldeep Yadav, Chris Green also extended wishes for Shahrukh Khan on his birthday.
KKR improved their qualification chances significantly but will still have to wait for the results in the upcoming two matches between Royal Challengers Bangalore and Delhi Capitals on Monday and Sunrisers Hyderabad vs Mumbai Indians on Tuesday.
