Indian Premier League (IPL) franchise Kolkata Knight Riders cricketer Sunil Narine recently shared an adorable picture of his son in the KKR jersey. Incidentally, Narine, the West Indies cricketer, became the father of a baby boy with partner Anjellia earlier this year in February. The couple announced in December last year that Anjellia is set to embrace motherhood.

Meanwhile, Sunil Narine is currently in India plying his trade for the Kolkata-based outfit in the 14th edition of IPL. So far, he has played only two matches with the management preferring ace all-rounder Shakib Al Hasan over him. Narine has scored 10 runs in two matches and picked up one wicket at an economy rate of 6.75.

In the meantime, Narine shared an adorable picture of his son on Instagram. In the picture, his son, Silas’ name can be seen wearing a Kolkata Knight Riders jersey. Sunil Narine came up with a heartwarming caption for the beautiful picture.

“Future KKR Player in The Making.” Later, the official Instagram handle of the Knights replied to the post writing that Narine’s son was looking good in KKR colours,” Narine wrote in the caption.

Sunil Narine not needed at the top – Ajit Agarkar

Meanwhile, Kolkata Knight Riders have made an awful start to their IPL 2021 campaign. On Saturday, KKR lost to the Rajasthan Royals (RR) by six wickets at the Wankhede Stadium in Mumbai. Shubman Gill’s failures at the top have given rise to questions on whether KKR should change their lineup or not. Former cricketer Ajit Agarkar feels that Kolkata shouldn’t alter their opening combination for the time being and Sunil Narine should bat in the lower order

“Not yet needed (Narine on top. They (KKR) have got really two good players (on top). Narine can be the floater, which he always is for them,” Agarkar said to ESPNcricinfo.
