IND vs AUS: [WATCH] Jasprit Bumrah Castles Glenn Maxwell With A Searing Yorker

Team India pacer Jasprit Bumrah unleashed a searing yorker to dismiss Glenn Maxwell in the third and final ODI against Australia on Wednesday, September 27 at the Saurashtra Cricket Association Stadium in Rajkot. The dismissal pegged Australia back in the innings, however, they still ended up with 352 runs on the board.

The visitors were going great guns in the match with a 137-run stand for the second wicket. However, quick wickets pushed them back. In the thirty-ninth over, Jasprit Bumrah bowled a series of slower deliveries. However, he brought a change in the pace of the final delivery.

The pacer bowled an inch-perfect yorker at 142.3kph to Glenn Maxwell. The ball tailed back in late and went under Maxwell’s bat to knock off the base of the off-stump. Bumrah was not having a great game until then, but made a good comeback with Maxwell’s dismissal, who had to walk back for five runs from seven deliveries.

Indian bowlers pull things back after brilliant top-order partnerships

Australian top-order laid a solid platform to get a huge score in the third ODI against India at Rajkot. The top three slammed fifties each in the innings. David Warner scored 56 runs, while Steve Smith slammed 74. Mitchell Marsh was unfortunate to miss out on a century getting caught on 96 runs. Marnus Labuschagne also played a fine knock of 74 runs as Australia put on 352 on the board.

At a certain stage, the visitors were set for a 380+ run score. However, Indian bowlers kept striking at regular intervals to pull back the score. Jasprit Bumrah took three wickets in the match, while Kuldeep Yadav took two. Mohammed Siraj and Prasidh Krishna picked one each. India is leading the three-match series 2-0 after convincing wins in the first two ODIs at Mohali and Indore respectively.
