The 2020 IPL season has been an eventful one and a memorable one at the same time for some players. We saw the resurgence of Royal Challengers Bangalore while we also witnessed the downfall of Chennai Super Kings who have by far been one of the most successful IPL franchises in history. Talking about the players, there have been some who went on to make it big while there were others as well who went on to flop on the big stage.

The likes of Varun Chakravarthy used IPL as a platform to perform and earn a selection in the Indian side whereas the dipping form of Rishabh Pant eventually cost the wicket-keeper a place in the limited-overs side. With all the highs and lows players have experienced this season, we take a look at the players that constitute the Flop XI of IPL 2020.

Let’s take a look at the Flop XI of the season:

1. Aaron Finch

Australia’s limited-overs skipper Aaron Finch has had an IPL to forget as he’s had one of the worst seasons for any franchise. He was bought for a whopping Rs. 4.40 crores as the Mike Hesson hoped that Finch would solve RCB’s opening woes but it turned out to be the exact opposite of their hopes as Finch just managed 236 runs in 11 matches which included just one fifty.

In majority matches, Finch ended up getting out in the first six overs thus putting RCB in trouble very early on in the innings. It was Devdutt Padikkal in Finch’s absence of form who took the responsibility to play the role of the anchor for the side. Out and all Finch was one of the disappointments of the season as he was eventually replaced by Josh Phillipe in the latter half of the season.
