Jonny Bairstow was castled by Jofra Archer in the very third over of Sunrisrers Hyderabad chase against Rajasthan Royals in match 41 in Dubai. He was dismissed for 10 off seven balls as he failed to gauge the swing of an incoming delivery from his England teammate. The ball went through his defences and shattered the stumps as the zing bails lighted up to send him back to the pavillion.
SRH and RR are squaring off at the moment in Dubai with the Orange Army chasing 155 to win a crucial game. However, they are in deep trouble with two of their talismanic batsmen back in the pavillion picked by Archer. He picked up SRH skipper David Warner in his very first over. He has now accounted for Warner’s wicket 8 times in 103 balls across formats. Meanwhile, Bairstow was his seventh wicket inside the powerplay this season. You can watch the video below.

Both SRH and RR are in the bottom half of the table, desperate to win games. KKR losing their last game against RCB has given life to these two teams. RR are at eight points, while Sunrisers at six. A win here for the Royals will take them in the top four, while an SRH win will see them stay alive in the tournament.
Meanwhile, Archer has picked up 15 wickets in the season so far taking these two scalps from today’s contest. He has been invariably giving early wickets to his team with the ball and producing cameos with the bat as well.
Even in this game, Archer scored 16 off 7 balls coming into bat at number eight as he scored 13 off the final over of their innings to take past 150.
SRH will have to win this game to stay alive in the season, while a win here for RR will take them to the fourth spot in the points table.
