The level of fast bowling on show yesterday in IPL 2020 was world-class. Jofra Archers, Kagiso Rabada and Anrich Nortje put on an absolute spectacle and mesmerised everyone with their hostile spell of fast bowling. Archer set the tone on the very first ball of the match when he castled Prithvi Shaw with a special delivery.
Once the Rajasthan Royals speedster got the early wicket he cranked it up and put on a striking display of fast bowling. In the second half, it was over to Kagiso Rabada and Anrich Nortje to confirm their mettle defending a total of 162.
The fastest bowler of IPL 2020, Nortje was rapid from ball one as he delivered thunderbolts to RR batsmen. Especially his over to Jos Buttler was the highlight of the match as after every boundary he was hit his speeds got quicker and he bowled deliveries over 150 kmph with great ease.

His hard work paid off when he clean bowled Buttler with a 156.22 kmph unplayable delivery. This became the second-ever fastest delivery bowled in IPL history. Kagiso Rabada too was top class as he went all out with his pace in the death overs which eventually helped Delhi Capitals win against Rajasthan Royals.
Meanwhile, after the conclusion of the match, the three express fast bowlers were acknowledged by the greatest fast bowler of his generation Dale Steyn. The legendary bowler took to Twitter and stated that he would have paid to watch all 3 fast bowlers in action after he saw fast bowling of the highest order.
“KG, Archer, Ana I’d have paid to watch them live tonight. Fast bowling is strong, and this competition is being dominated by these beasts!”, Steyn Tweeted.
