Kings XI Punjab managed to escape defeat as Nicholas Pooran got them over the line against Royal Challengers Bangalore on Thursday night. KXIP got their second win of the campaign and would be looking for many more in the remaining games.
Evey game for the franchise from here on is a must-win if they are to give themselves any chance of making it to the playoffs. Meanwhile, Preity Zinta was a much relieved and happy owner after they managed to pull off a game they nearly lost.
After Punjab’s win, Priety Zinta took to Twitter to post a message to all the Punjab fans. In a way, the message was also a warning for the fans. Kings XI Punjab games are not for the faint-hearted said Zinta as she almost gave a disclaimer of what to expect from every KXIP game from here on. The post got over 13 thousand likes on the social media portal.
Priety Zinta celebrates KXIP’s Win Over RCB
“Finally a much-needed win for US Wish our team wouldn’t give heart attacks to people in the name of cricket. Statutory Warning @lionsdenkxip games are not for the faint-hearted. I really admired the fight back from the RCB Bowlers in the end. #Ipl20 #Dream11 #RCBvKXIP #Ting,” Zinta said in her post.

Meanwhile, former KXIP captain and mentor Virender Sehwag had a piece of advice for the KXIP skipper after their narrow win. He asked KL Rahul to finish games an over or two earlier after being set in his knock.
“If you are the captain, and you are standing there till the 20th over, and you are in good form, then you should finish the game at least an over before” said Sehwag.
KL Rahul (61) and Chris Gayle (53) added a 93-run stand to help KXIP win the game. Gayle’s run out in the penultimate delivery made the game a bit interesting, however, Pooran made sure Punjab end on the right side of the result.
