Mumbai Indians landed in UAE in the second week of August. Having completed their isolation period in the third week Mumbai Indians kicked off the preparations for IPL 2021. Players who participated in the Mumbai Indians practice session are ready for the second phase of IPL 2021.

On Wednesday (September 1) Mumbai Indians shared the video of young pacer Arjun Tendulkar nailing yorkers. He was bowling with South African pacer Macro Jansen, who has joined the team in IPL 2021 auction. Both the pacers were given the targets to bowl yorkers and they had done their task with perfection.

 Defending champions had bought Arjun Tendulkar at his base price of 20 Lakh in the IPL2021 auction. 21-year-old Arjun is an all-rounder and can also make valuable contributions with the bat.

Mumbai Indians fourth in the points table after first half of IPL 2021

Mumbai Indians had to face the defeat at the hands of RCB in the opening game of the league, they bounced back in the second match against KKR. currently, they are placed fourth at the points table, registering 4 wins out of the 7 matches they have played.
The team led by Rohit Sharma will start the second phase of IPL against their arch-rivals Chennai Super Kings on September 19th.

The last time when both the giants locked up the horns, MI pull off the victory in a close encounter. Kieron Pollard was awarded Man of the match for his brilliant all-round performance. He took 2 wickets conceded only 12 runs in 2 overs and scored 87* off 34 balls to take his team home.

Next, they will face Kolkata Knight Riders on September 23, Royal Challengers Bangalore on 26th September, Punjab Kings on September 28th, Delhi Capitals on 2nd October, Rajasthan Royals on October 5, and Sunrisers Hyderabad on 8th of October.

Skipper Rohit Sharma, star pacer, Jasprit Bumrah, all-rounder Kieron Pollard and few other players are busy with other commitments and have not joined the camp yet. They will join just a few days before the commencement of 2nd phase of IPL 2021.
