IPL 2021 is set to start in September. All the teams are practicing and gearing up for the second phase of this tournament. Yuzvendra Chahal will be seen in action for Royal Challengers Bangalore. His team will lock horns with Kolkata Knight Riders on September 20th.
It seems like the leg-spinner cannot wait any longer for the big day as he posted a photo with captain Virat Kohli in RCB colours earlier today. He captioned the photo:
“Bhaiya yeah 20th September kab aayega? (Brother, when will September 20 arrive?”)

Reacting to this photo, Yuzvendra Chahal’s spin twin Kuldeep Yadav trolled Yuzi Chahal. He wrote:
19 ke baad. (After September 19.)”
Yuzvendra Chahal will be a key assest for RCB
In the previous edition of the IPL which was held in UAE, the Yuzvendra Chahal Virat Kohli’s main bowler. He impressed everyone by scalping 21 wickets in 15 matches at an economy rate of 7.08 runs per over.

But Chahal did not have a memorable outing with the ball in the first phase of IPL 2021. The Royal Challengers Bangalore star managed to take only four wickets in seven games, with his economy rate being more than eight runs per over.
This time around the leg spinner will be keen to put that bad phase behind him and give his best for the team. RCB who have never won an IPL title yet will want their key leg spinner to do well. RCB started the 2021 edition extremely positively. They are currently third on the table with 10 points from 7 matches.
This year is certainly looking good for Virat Kohli’s men and they will want to win their maiden IPL title this time. RCB will resume their campaign against two-time champions Kolkata Knight Riders on September 20 at the Sheikh Zayed Stadium in Abu Dhabi. It will be interesting to see if Chahal can help the Bangalore-based franchise end their title drought this year.
