I played a lot of matches in the last six months, which has helped me know my game better. I love it when the ball swings and the batters get beaten. Have tried to figure out how I can keep myself fit. The red-ball game teaches you a lot about how the ball is coming out of the hand. The ultimate goal is to play for India.”

 In the Ranji Trophy 2024, Khaleel played six matches and took 14 wickets, averaging 25.78, with his best bowling being 4 wickets for 19 runs. In the IPL match, Delhi Capitals won the toss and chose to bat first. David Warner scored 52 runs in 35 balls, including five fours and three sixes, while Prithvi Shaw, returning to the team, made 43 runs in 27 balls, with four boundaries and two sixes, creating a strong start with a 93-run opening partnership.
After they got out, Delhi Capitals struggled a bit until Rishabh Pant scored 51 runs in 32 balls, with four boundaries and three sixes, helping the team reach a total of 191/5 in their 20 overs. During Chennai Super Kings’ chase for 192 runs, Matheesha Pathirana was the top bowler for CSK, taking 3 wickets for 31 runs. While chasing, Khaleel Ahmed and Mukesh Kumar troubled CSK’s batters, with Khaleel taking 2 wickets for 21 runs and Mukesh taking 3 wickets for 21 runs.
At one point, CSK was at 75/3 in 10.2 overs. Ajinkya Rahane scored 45 runs in 30 balls, Daryl Mitchell made 34 runs in 26 balls, and MS Dhoni scored 37 not out in 16 balls. Despite their efforts, Delhi Capitals secured a 20-run victory, limiting CSK to 171/6.Khaleel was awarded the ‘Player of the Match’ for his performance that helped win the game. CSK is currently in second place with two wins and one loss, totaling four points. DC is in seventh place with one win and two losses, totaling two points.
