Former England skipper Michael Vaughan has brought his A-game on Twitter once again. He has been rocking Twitter ever since England have come to India to play the ongoing series. He has been constantly criticising the pitch after England’s string of low-scores in the Test series. In the first T20I as well. Vaughan has taken a jibe at the Indian team management and skipper Virat Kohli.

Seeing the way Indian batsmen throw their wickets away, Michael Vaughan took a jibe at the Indian batting line-up saying that Mumbai Indians are a better team than the Indian team which played the first T20I. “The @mipaltan are a better T20 team than @BCCI !!! #JustSaying #INDvENG” Vaughan tweeted.

Part of his tweet also highlighted the absence of Rohit Sharma from the Indian XI which is he brought the reference of Mumbai Indians. Rohit and Virat are two of the most seniormost players in the current Indian set up and the debate about split captaincy has often been brought about between the two.

Indian skipper Virat Kohli was also dismissed for a duck inn the first game which gave Michael Vaughan all the more a reason to target Team India. The team won the England series under him and made it to the WTC finals.

However, being the Indian limited-overs captain since 2017, Kohli is yet to win an ICC tournament. He lost the 2017 Champions Trophy final against Pakistan which remains the lowest point of his captaincy career. He also lost to New Zealand in the semifinal of the ICC 2019 World Cup.

Kohli takes great pride in the team that he is currently leading and the setup he has been part of. On the other hand, Michael Vaughan has constantly targeted India due to their recent success over England in red-ball cricket.

Meanwhile, India lost to England in the first T20I at the Motera. They were completely outplayed by Eoin Morgan’s men in every department of the game. The visitors thus lead the five-match series 1-0.
