When it came to the sporting world, Dhoni was chosen as the most trusted and respected personality. Whereas India skipper Virat Kohli and his wife Anushka Sharma were at the summit of the most respected and trusted celebrity couple. This doesn’t come as a surprise as the power couple is well-known across the globe.
Also, ‘Virushka’ were at the pole position for the most attractive couple in the research conducted by TIARA. Talking about other lists, Kohli along with Tennis star Sania Mirza topped the list of the most attractive personality in the field of sports.
Meanwhile, as many as 60,000 people across 23 cities voted for their favourite stars in the survey. As expected Kohli and Dhoni were the popular choices among sports personalities as their ‘brand’ stands head and shoulders above the rest.
“There’s a lot of interest in common folk when it comes to advertising, and especially celebrities in advertising. Right now, if you see the IPL, 50 per cent of the ads have one or the other celeb making an appearance”, said Advertising and media industry expert and chief mentor of IIHB, Sandeep Goyal about the research.
“In fact, if you go to an OTT platform like Disney Plus Hotstar, two out of three ads feature a celebrity. So now celebs have become an essential part of the advertising and brand communication landscape”. He further added.
