In the upcoming season that player could be the talented all-rounder Rojith Ganesh from Kerala who has been added as a reserve player at Mumbai Indians for IPL 2021.

The Mumbai Indians management has begun their preparation for the upcoming IPL season and has started identifying players who can be match-winners in the long run. MI is thoroughly impressed with the skills of Rojith Ganesh who is capable with the bat and can also bowl some handy leg-spin in T20 cricket.

Rojith Ganesh represented Kerala in the recently concluded Vijay Hazare trophy. However, he could only play a handful number of matches where he wasn’t able to showcase his skills in the tournament. The Mumbai Indians talent scout seem to be imprinted with Ganesh’s game and have roped him a reserve player for the upcoming IPL season which is a major break for the youngster.

After being chosen as a reserve player in the Mumbai Indians line-up, Rojith was thrilled and confirmed the news on his official Instagram handle. “Happy to stand with champions side @mumbaiindians #ipl2021,” the caption of his post read.

Meanwhile, Rojith Ganesh had a brilliant KCA Presidents T20 Cup in which he showcased his six-hitting ability. He represented KCA Royals and in a match, he smashed an unbeaten 28 off just 11 deliveries at a brilliant strike-rate of more than 250. He will look to learn from some of the best players in the world at Mumbai and improves his game which helps him in the upcoming future.

Furthermore, Mumbai Indians will face the Royal Challengers Bangalore in the IPL 2021 season opener in Chennai on April 9.
