Watch – Rashid Khan Engage In Sledging With Marcus Stoinis After Getting Him Out

Rashid Khan and Marcus Stoinis are game-changers for their respective sides in IPL. Today the Delhi Capitals stunned Sunrisers Hyderabad by promoting Marcus Stoinis as an opener. Stoinis who has tasted success as a T20 opener opened for DC in Qualifier 2 at Abu Dhabi.

The pair of Shikhar Dhawan and Marcus Stoinis gave their side a rollicking start in the knockout match. The opening pair of DC played aggressive cricket and put SRH on the backfoot very early on in the contest. Seeing the match drifting away from SRH, skipper David Warner introduced Rashid Khan into the attack in the 7th over.

Rashid Khan Sledges Marcus Stoinis

SRH needed a quick breakthrough to stop the flow of runs and brought in their trump card Rashid Khan. Dhawan and Stoinis attacked the champion leg spinner in his first over and accumulated 11 runs. In his very next over Rashid like he always does came back in his style.

Rashid bowled a ripping leggie to which Stoinis had absolutely no answers and dismissed him on 38. The DC all-rounder ended up playing all around the brilliant ball and lost his off stump. Rashid delivered the ball with an extra effort castled Stoinis and provided his side with the much-needed wicket.

As soon as Rashid saw the ball crashing into off stump he was away celebrating in his usual style. The leg spinner also gave Stoinis a send-off and engaged in a war of words after picking his wicket.

The smiling assassin Rashid surprised everyone as he didn’t hold back and gave a mouthful to Stoinis in a heated exhange. Once Stoinis heard Rashid having a go at him he too replied him back while heading towards the pavilion. It seemed there was chatter between the two during the match and Rashid was thrilled to see the back of Stoinis.
