Rishabh Pant lost his father just before the start of IPL 10. Yet the spirit he showed by coming back strong was highly commendable. In a game against the Gujarat Lions, Pant smashed a 43 ball 97 playing with Samson (61 off 31 balls).
When the former lost his wicket to Basil Thampi, Suresh Raina: Captain of the Lions walked up to him and consoled him in what was a sheer heart winning gesture. Exhibiting true sportsmanship, Raina earned much appreciation from the masses while Pant almost won it for his team.
