5. SUPEROVER SPECIAL
Spectators at Rajkot received a visual treat as the encounter between Gujarat Lions and Mumbai Indians ended in a tie. This resulted in the first (and the only) Superover of IPL 2017 taking place. MI batting first lost both their wickets and Gujarat had to score 12 in 6 balls. Jaspreet Bumrah was handed the ball and boy, he did a fantastic job. The start was not at all favourable as the pacer bowled a no ball followed by a wide on the 3rd ball. He kept his cool and managed to defend the score as Mcculum and Finch together could only manage 6 runs in 6 deliveries.
