The Australian tour of India in the beginning of the year saw some fierce competition between the two teams. However, Sunrisers’ Captain – David Warner showcased remarkable sportsmanship in the game against the Gujarat Lions. Batting with the skipper was Moises Henriques who hit the ball down the ground. In an attempt to stop the ball, Basil Thampi (the bowler) ended up losing his shoe. Warner who was in the middle of a run, stopped by and handed over the shoe to him. The Aussie garnered tons of praises for his action and he also went on to score 76 off 45 balls.
