July 30 marks the first birthday of Hardik Pandya’s son Agastya. He was born last year in this day much to the happiness of the Pandya family. The family as a whole have been through a lot of ups and downs in recent times. They first lost their father to COVID and then recently Krunal was tested positive of the same in Sri Lanka as well. The Indian team, unfortunately, lost the T20I series against Sri Lanka 2-1 after losing the third and final game.
Meanwhile, Hardik Pandya posted a video of him enjoying quality time with his son Agastya on his first birthday. The video had cute moments of Hardik and Agastya enjoying the time spent with each other. He wrote:
“I cannot believe you’re ONE year old already. Agastya, you are my heart and my soul. You’ve shown me what love is more than I’ve ever known. You’ve been the biggest blessing in my life and I cannot imagine a single day without you. Love you and miss you with all my heart.”

Forgetful Tour of Sri Lanka For Hardik Pandya
Hardik was a part of the Indian team that went to Sri Lanka for a white-ball series. India won the ODI series 2-1 before losing the T20I series 1-2. The Indian all-rounder did not have a series to remember in any of the formats, unfortunately. He scored just 19 runs in the two innings in the ODIs. He took just three wickets in the series including the ODIs and the T20Is.
This series was seen as a crucial one for Hardik heading into the T20 World Cup. He was lack of match fitness and also bowling in match conditions. However, he was not able to do both. He looked bothered with his back which in turn affected his performances as well. Pandya is still in the fray for the specialist all-rounder’s role for the mega event later this year.
However, the lack of cricket in recent times can go against Pandya. He was expected to play a significant role but it did not turn out that way. He will be playing the IPL 2021 for Mumbai Indians and would like to come up with improved performances and make a strong case for his selection in India’s T20 World Cup squad.
