Chennai Super Kings skipper MS Dhoni was seen enjoying a game of footvolley, with his CSK teammates, on Monday. The game combines aspects of beach volleyball and association football.

The defending champions are gearing for Indian Premier League 2022, with a pre-season camp at Surat. They posted a sneak peek from the footvolley game between MS Dhoni and other CSK members, on their social media platforms.

Chennai Super Kings uploaded a video, captioning it as, “Namma Special Footvolley segment is Back! #WhistlePodu.”

Along with MS Dhoni, Ambati Rayudu, KM Asif, C Hari Nishaanth and Tushar Deshpande have also begun their training in the pre-season camp at Surat.

Chennai Super Kings have posted several snaps from their practice session on social media. Earlier, they posted a video of the rousing welcome that the players received while going for the training session.

Chennai Super Kings’ to take on Kolkata Knight Riders in IPL 2022 season opener

The Indian Premier League 2022 season is all set to kick off on March 26 at the Wankhede Stadium, Mumbai. The Chennai Super Kings will take on Kolkata Knight Riders in the opening clash.

The Board of Control for Cricket in India, on Sunday, released the schedule for the 2022 IPL season. The league stages of the tournament will be played at four venues across Maharashtra – Wankhede Stadium, Brabourne Stadium, DY Patil Stadium, and MCA Stadium.

The defending champions are in Group B with Sunrisers Hyderabad, Royal Challengers Bangalore, Punjab Kings, and Gujarat Titans. Apart from these four teams, CSK will also play a game each against Kolkata Knight Riders, Rajasthan Royals, Delhi Capitals, and Lucknow Super Giants. They will take on the arch-rivals Mumbai Indians twice this season.
