Ravindra Jadeja has been in great catching form in IPL 2021. In the last match, he plucked not 1 catch but 4 catches and helped CSK defeat Rajasthan Royals. Tonight he took another screamer this time against Kolkata Knight Riders. The CSK all-rounder jumped to his right side to snaffle a sharp catch.
The CSK bowlers have been on fire in the run chase against KKR as they dented them early with key wickets. They got another one when Jadeja who was stationed at the short extra cover made no mistake.
Ravindra Jadeja Plucks A Sharp Catch
The Kolkata Knight Riders sent Sunil Narine at number 5 to play a counter-attacking knock. Narine would have considered himself unlucky as he got out after nailing a fierce cover drive. The only thing against him was he never intended to keep it out and Jadeja was sensing a catch inside the circle.
The bowler Deepak Chahar bowled it outside off which Narine hit fiercely. Jadeja again showed his quick reflex and dived to his wrong side and completed a sharp catch.
As soon as Jadeja took the catch Sunil Gavaskar in the commentary went ‘Jadugaar Jadeja’. It wasn’t a simple catch by any stretch of the imagination but Jadeja made it look like a regulation take. Narine was disappointed as he knew he struck the ball well but it found Jadeja who has the safest pair of hands in world cricket.

Meanwhile talking about the match CSK is well on top against KKR. The KKR side is currently 111 for 5 after 11 overs with their only hope being Andre Russell.
