Royal Challengers Bangalore is in red hot form in IPL 2021. They sit comfortably at the top of the points table with two wins in two games. They beat the defending champions in the opening game and then beat the Sunrisers Hyderabad by 6 runs due to their brilliant bowling performance in the death overs.
After these two wins, the RCB management decided to lighten the mood and gave the players a break. The management hosted many fun-filled activities in the team room. This was done mainly to lighten the mood as living in the bio-bubble can be hard. This also allowed the team to bond with each other as well.
The entire squad was divided into three teams. The teams were led by the RCB skipper Virat Kohli, star batsman AB de Villiers and Yuzvendra Chahal respectively. They were given the task that they had to enact scripts from their childhood. They were also judged by three people. One of the judges was Yuzvendra Chahal’s wife, Dhanashree Verma.

In the video released by RCB the team really seemed to be enjoying themselves. AB de Villiers team had to enact the ‘Cinderella’ story. The second team to perform was Virat Kohli’s and they were asked to act on “The Ugly Duckling”. The last team to perform was Chahal’s team and they acted in the fairy tale “Little Red Riding Hood”.
The standout performer was Glenn Maxwell. He was acting goofy throughout the activity and left everyone in splits especially his captain Virat Kohli, who seemed to be enjoying himself the most. Glenn Maxwell also received the best actor award for his antics. Virat Kohli’s team was chosen as the best team for their performance. Glenn Maxwell received a few goodies and gifts as his prize.

Royal Challengers Bangalore will be seen in action against the Kolkata Knight Riders at the MA Chidambaram Stadium on Sunday 18th April at 3:30. It is the first doubleheader of the season and will be interesting to watch.
