As the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2025 prepares to resume, Rajasthan Royals (RR) skipper Sanju Samson, head coach Rahul Dravid, and 14-year-old prodigy Vaibhav Suryavanshi were among the notable names who rejoined the squad.

The BCCI had temporarily halted the tournament on May 9 for a week. The league is now scheduled to restart on May 17, with Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) set to clash with Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) at the M. Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bengaluru.

Rajasthan Royals will return to the field a day later, facing Punjab Kings (PBKS) in a daytime fixture on Sunday, May 18, at the Sawai Mansingh Stadium in Jaipur. They will wrap up their league stage with a match against Chennai Super Kings (CSK) on Tuesday, May 20, at Delhi’s Arun Jaitley Stadium.

Before the tournament resumes, the Rajasthan Royals’ official X account posted videos featuring Sanju Samson arriving at the team hotel, joined by new recruit Lhuan-dre Pretorius and several other key players. You can watch the video here:

Riyan Parag has also made notable contributions, tallying 377 runs from as many games, with a top score of 95. Meanwhile, 14-year-old prodigy Vaibhav Suryavanshi has made headlines with 155 runs in five innings, highlighted by a remarkable century against Gujarat Titans (GT), making him the youngest player ever to score a T20 hundred.

On the bowling side, the Royals have faced challenges, but Maheesh Theekshana and Jofra Archer have stood out with 11 wickets each, while Wanindu Hasaranga contributed with 10 dismissals.
