[WATCH]- Shubman Gill Snubs Fan’s Selfie Attempt Amid IPL 2025 Suspension

On Sunday, May 11, Gujarat Titans (GT) captain Shubman Gill was spotted at the airport, walking without any reaction as a fan attempted to take a selfie with him. This happened after the BCCI announced a temporary suspension of the IPL 2025 season due to rising tensions at the India-Pakistan border. The league was halted for a week starting Friday, May 9.

Gill, dressed in a casual black t-shirt, grey pants, white shoes, and sunglasses, was seen walking with his luggage and security. A fan approached him, walking alongside and trying to take a selfie. Despite her efforts, Gill neither paused nor acknowledged her, simply continuing his walk without responding.

Even after repeatedly asking for a selfie and trying to catch up with Shubman Gill, the 25-year-old remained unmoved, and the fan eventually walked away.

Shubman Gill’s Gujarat Titans Kickstart Training as IPL 2025 Set to Resume Soon

Shubman Gill and his team Gujarat Titans (GT) have become the first team to start training during the IPL 2025 suspension. The league is anticipated to restart on May 16 with a revised schedule, though an official announcement is still awaited.

Gill has been key for his team this season, scoring 508 runs in 11 innings at an average of 50.80 and a strike rate of 152.55. With five half-centuries, he’s among the top run-scorers, and his contributions have helped Gujarat Titans top the points table during the league’s temporary pause.

The Gujarat Titans have won eight of their 11 matches, earning 16 points with a net run rate of +0.793. Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) also have 16 points, but Gujarat leads due to their better net run rate (RCB’s net run rate stands at +0.482).

Gill will be eager to maintain his form when the league resumes, with the Gujarat Titans firmly in contention for a top-two finish.
