Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) secured an emphatic win over Delhi Capitals (DC) by 16 runs at the Wankhede Stadium. The cricketers including former captain Virat Kohli along with support staff celebrated the win with their customary anthem in the dressing room.
Meanwhile, the Bangalore franchise gave their ardent fans a peek into the celebrations by sharing a video on their official Instagram handle. In it, fans can catch glimpses of players celebrating joyfully. Dinesh Karthik, Faf du Plessis, and Glenn Maxwell also gave brief reviews of the game and the team’s performance.

Meanwhile, RCB have played some scintillating cricket with Dinesh Karthik leading the job with the bat in the final overs. He and Shahbaz Ahmed once again formed a match-winning stand to propel Bangalore to 189 runs which in the end proved to be enough to seal the win.
The 36-year-old wicket-keeper batsman has been in superlative form since the start of the 15th edition of the cash-rich league. Across six matches, Dinesh Karthik has smacked 197 runs at an astonishing strike rate of 209.57 and has got out only once.

The cricketer from Tamil Nadu recently admitted that he has bigger goals with the T20 World Cup slated to take place in Australia in a few months’ time. Karthik last played for India during the 2019 ODI World Cup in England.
“I must admit that I have a bigger goal and have been working really hard. I have been trying to do everything to be a part of the Indian team,” Dinesh Karthik said at the post-match presentation ceremony.
With this victory, RCB have jumped to the third spot in the IPL 2022 points table with four wins in six matches.
